We’re excited to announce the launch of the OHE Education Hub and OHE Academy!

A comprehensive educational platform designed to make health economics accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of expertise. The OHE Academy is bolstered by the well-established OHE Graduate School and serves as a gateway for learners to delve into the broader field of health economics and OHE research.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  1. Foundational Information: Dive into a comprehensive introduction to health economics, explore hot topics, and gain insights into a career as a health economist.
  2. Advanced Educational Materials: For professionals working in or alongside health economics, we offer specialised courses and resources to enhance your expertise.

The OHE Academy also extends its reach to school-aged learners via our partnership with Discover Economics. We’re passionate about fostering interest in health economics from an early age and aim to inspire the next generation of health economists. One key element we are doing this through is our lesson plans for sixth form teachers and students. Currently, two plans are live in the Discover Economics resource centre; Introduction to health economics and Cost benefit analysis in healthcare.

Whether you’re just starting out in health economics or looking to deepen your understanding, explore the Educational Hub and OHE Academy and see what we have to offer. As we continue to grow and develop the Academy, watch this space for exciting new materials and sponsored content!

The OHE Graduate School initiative is the fruit of our commitment to fostering the next generation of health economists. The Graduate School offers two main fellowship programmes: the MSc Fellowship Programme and the PhD Fellowship Programme providing opportunities for aspiring health economists to obtain their degrees while gaining practical experience in the field.

The MSc Fellowship Programme is designed for those who have completed an undergraduate degree and are looking to further their studies in health economics. The PhD Fellowship Programme, on the other hand, is for those who have completed a master’s degree and wish to pursue a doctoral research degree.

We believe these initiatives will greatly contribute to the development of health economics and help shape the future of health policy. Please visit the OHE Academy and OHE Graduate School websites for more information.

We look forward to welcoming you to our community of learners.
